If anything, he's in the middle of ignoring the way he's suspecting he's grown feelings for Sugawara instead. Kinjou isn't even on his radar of realizing anything.

[Grumbling it out, moving to clean up his dishes and pick them up, Arakita stands to take his empty plate to the kitchen - and maybe start up a little dish water if some isn't already made. It's a reluctant habit out of every other meal being at home now that someone is cooking.]
It was kind'a weird, but I figured you were why I got birthday wishes from other people. It looks good, you'll have to see it next time you come up.
[Setting his dishes aside, reaching to take Toudou's from him when he follows, Arakita just starts up the water to partially fill the sink. There's not a lot really to clean up, at least.]
