[Having been slouched on the couch for the better part of a half hour, Arakita blearily looks at his palm-reader before he fires off a response. Adjusting the ice pack on his face and the one under his elbow, sure that his appearance alone is going to cause a problem, there's not really a point to stopping it here.

Kinjou tends to come whether Arakita says he can or not, he's never really had a reason to tell him no before.]

Yeah, sure. It's fine. Don't freak out when you get here though. Door's open so just come in.

[ it's... probably somewhere just past 3AM when suga snaps awake, sitting sharply upright like he's prepared to tear himself out of the bed and flee. he's drenched in a cold sweat, breathing hard and shivering, and... it takes him a few solid moments to realize where he is. it's one of those nightmares that seems determined to keep its claws dug into him even now that he's awake, and there's a thick lump sitting square in the middle of his throat that he can scarcely breathe past.

... and the quiet darkness of the apartment pressing in on him from all sides does nothing to help. the bed is almost frighteningly empty -- even when he slides his hand timidly over to the spot where arakita normally curls up, nothing but cool sheets meet his fingertips.

suga tries, he really does, but. ]

[ his fingers are shaking too badly to even bother with punctuation, much less the usual emoji. ]

[It takes him a long few minutes to get enough of his brain together to squint sleepily at his palm reader - there's a heavy weight of drunkard sleeping on his chest, so he's lucky he dropped it near enough to actually hear it instead of leaving it somewhere on the floor. He'd never have been able to get it. Shutting his eyes and tapping out a response, frowning a bit because he can recognize enough of just what time it is, waking up in the middle of the night with a hungover headache starting in his temples comes with the wrong scent.]
